IMATS NY 2013 haul

This was my first IMATS and I was so excited to be there. It was pretty crowded when I got there and in some booths (OCC, Inglot) I had to wait like 10 to 15 mins just to get up to the booth. So now I know for next time 1) GET THERE EARLY!!! 2) Look up the list of exhibitors and map out the top companies or products you want to try. 3) Once you're done with number 2, NOW YOU ROAM and take it all in probably even stop off at some places that werent on your list but look interesting.
Overall, I got to meet a few people, learn a few tips and most of all I got to SAMPLE, TEST and TRY On!! O and buy everything at a discount.
Since this was my first IMATS I didnt want to go too crazy so I mostly picked up lashes and an airbrush machine which I really wanted. I also picked up some Ben Nye translucent powder in Chestnut, Fair and Topaz. Four Graftobian beauty sponges,they were sold out of thier contour pallet which I really wanted. Inglot Lipstick in 288 Blue (I wore the same night to the fashion show) 194 Pink and lashes in 65s. I got my airbrush machine from Paasche, its so small it almost fits in the palm of my hand. It came in a really cute kit with three foundation colors. One cool light shade, one warm light shade and one dark brown shade. You can  mix the colors to customize your shade. I also got this cool new body bronzer product by GLEAM in rose gold, gold , deep bronze and light gold.

Fashion Show UPDATE

As promised here's a quick update and a few pics of the offical lauch party of Fashion Sixty4. I ran a little late because I went to IMATS and was in make-up heaven and lost track of time lol. I made it back to jersey just in time to see the first model hit the stage. So, without further ado....

Gift Baskets and Fashion Shows

Today was a long day for me, I woke up at 7am and had an early doctors appointment (nothings wrong with me just my usual yearly check up. Yippie!!) Then I ran around to probably a thousand places trying to do last minute stuff for my friends fashion show on Sunday. She asked me to be one of her sponsors so I created a couple of gift baskets that she can give away. Filled with all handmade goodies like whipped body butters, shower gel and lip balm, I also threw in some body sponges, loofahs and pumice stones etc. Ill try posting pictures of the baskets and keep you updated on the fashion show. After delivering my baskets, I had to go to the supermarket, make dinner and then run out to work (yes, I work the night shift). Its now 3am, talk about running on E!!!!! lol On that note........Good Night All :)
